Purity – 99.8%.
Main characteristics of Alberta wheat variety
- early variety
- frost-resistant
- type – durum wheat
- grain weight -50 gr.
- seeding rate – 400 – 450 grains per m2Delivery of sowing material in Ukraine: pickup from warehouses (Cherkasy region), Nova Poshta (up to 1.5 tons) or other transport (negotiated separately for cargoes over 1.5 tons)
Alberta-108 – a Canadian variety of soft spring wheat.
Real yield under Ukrainian conditions reached up to 85 quintals per hectare.
The yield potential of the Canadian wheat variety Alberta is up to 115 quintals/hectare.
Sowing grain indicators:
Weight of 1000 seeds — 50 grams.
Germination — 98%,
Germination energy — 98%,
Varietal purity — 99%,
Gluten content — up to 36%.
Distinctive features of the Alberta variety compared to other wheat varieties:
1) This Canadian wheat variety can be sown consecutively for 3-5 years.
2) It is characterized by good drought resistance.
3) Resistant to abiotic stresses, tolerates spring temperature fluctuations and frosts well.
4) Strong immunity to fungal diseases of wheat, as well as viruses that commonly affect other wheat varieties.
5) Resistance to lodging, shedding, and prolonged standing due to a strong, powerful stem.
All seeds are prepared for sowing using European technology on Czech equipment before shipping:
Step 1 – Ultraviolet treatment
The first stage of seed disinfection and treatment is carried out. The equipment uses spectral analysis through ultraviolet rays to sort seeds into quality and non-quality categories (empty, small, infected, foreign).
Step 2 – Ozone treatment
Ozone performs 2 functions:
- “Awakens” the grain. This increases germination percentage and energy by up to 20% compared to basic indicators.
- Eliminates up to 97% of all harmful microflora, pests, and pathogens of seed diseases.
